Today's post is going to be something new! I borrowed this idea from the wonderful Amanda Stamback Photography. It was such a cute and awesome idea! I know someone has probably thought at one point " Who is this chick and why should I let her take my picture!" Hopefully, I will have answered all those questions with this post. I hope you all learn something new about me!
Get to know your
photographer:
1. One thing you believe about what you do? Love what you do and the rest will follow.
2. What’s your work ethic? I try my hardest to be on time and not rush through my sessions. I want to get the best shots and sometimes it takes more than an hour to make sure I get you a lot of wonderful pictures. I also want to make my clients laugh and have fun during their session and have them leave with a smile on their face!
3, What do you specialize in? I would say I specialize in Family photography but I absolutely LOVE boudoir. I am not biased on what I shoot and will photograph anything that gets in front of my camera.
4. Do you Itunes while editing? If yes what? I mainly listen to Pandora but I love listening to Jet while I edit.
5. How long do you spend on editing? About 5-8 minutes per photo.
6. Do you get it right in camera or worry about it in photo shop ? I always try to get it right in camera but every now and then I will need to use some photoshop skills to make it that much better.
7. Do you feel competitive with other business in town ? No. My work is not like anyone else’s and I understand that my work is not for everyone.

8. Are you schooled or self taught? I am 100% self taught. I have taught myself everything I know from watching youtube, talking to other photographers and watching seminars.
9. What’s your favorite subject? Nature. I absolutely love everything that nature has to offer.
10.What advise can you give to a newbie or someone interested in becoming a photographer ? If it is your dream and passion, don’t give up and push for your goal. Practice like it is nobodies business! Be respectful of other photographers. Be professional. You don’t have to have the best equipment to be an amazing photographer! You just need to have an eye for it and be driven to learn everything you can. Follow your heart!
